Project Description

Keane Engineering provided temporary works engineering services for the Gordon TAFE Centre of Excellence Upgrade, supporting staged demolition, structural modifications and construction activities within the existing facility. Our involvement included the design and certification of temporary works solutions to facilitate safe access, demolition sequencing, load management and protection of existing structures throughout the project.

Temporary bracing and propping design for stair shaft demolition and structural alterations
Temporary steel truss design to facilitate the demolition of 3 columns in the basement.
Internal temporary hoarding design and certification
EWP loading assessments for existing slabs and suspended structures
Material hoist support assessments and temporary works design
Stair infill and temporary floor reinstatement design
Spider crane outrigger load checks and slab capacity assessments
Brick wall propping systems and sunken garden temporary works design
